The Bible is a sacred book for Christians. It is a collection of books that was born in about a thousand years, two thousand years ago.  

 

The Bible is divided into two main parts: the Old and New Testaments. The Jews consider only the Old Testament to be their holy book and call it the Hebrew Bible (Tanak) because it is written in Hebrew.

The Bible is the most widely distributed book in the world. It has been translated  405 languages.

The Bible cannot be considered a complete history textbook, but it reflects the perceptions of people of its time about the events of history and their significance in the lives of the individual and the people.

The Bible is the book of the Church used in worship  the whole Christian church  during its existence. The church determined which books were included in the canon (book collection, a total of 66 books)  

This book has also played an important role in the religious life of the private person. This has been particularly pronounced among the post-Reformation churches, which undertook to teach all citizens literacy so that they would learn to read for themselves.  The Bible.

It is said from the Bible that no other book has made an impact  the course of world history as much. It is a fundamental work of Western culture, the effects of which are visible  in different art forms and  in the world of human values.
