HUMAN PURPOSE   TAO

Different ways to achieve the forge

"FORGING becomes one. One becomes two. Two becomes three. Three becomes all that exists." Tao is the ruling principle of the universe, reality, the greatest mystery  "Road". Everything in the world comes from being, and being comes from non-being. "   "So everything is born  from something, and something arises from what does not exist. "  Tao is  than a space inside a clay pot without which clay would have no meaning. (This explains the Laotian tao).

TAO manifests itself in man and nature.

Tao is as two opposing forces or entities  Yin (feminine) and yang (masculine). These different aspects complement each other and are constantly alternating.  Without one, there can be no other. Without sour it can not be sweet. This contrast is reflected, for example, in Chinese food culture: sweet and sour sauce is precisely a characteristic of Chinese food. The delicious whole is created thanks to the combination of opposite elements.

The goal of man is to strive for harmony with the forge,

which may result  the highest goal: longevity and immortality.  Man achieves a happy life by learning from nature. One must strive to live a stress-free simple modest not overly strenuous life. This lifestyle is called wu wei. Wu weitä  could images into active inaction, for  according to the laws of nature, things are arranged on time.

Various techniques for achieving a good life

Three treasures. Shen, Qi and Jin

The Taoist conception of man sees three important elements in man: Jin is a sexual force located in the pelvic region. Shen can be used to identify the forge and thus allow the force of the forge to flow through itself. Shen Power Center is located away. The Qi center is below the hub. This is the center of life force. Qi vitality can be increased by practicing special breathing techniques or movement and relaxation techniques such as or chita, which performs long slow series of movements mimicking the natural  soft movements.

Taoist meditation

The aim is to achieve harmony, that is, to achieve a balance between yin and yang, by controlling the body and mind. There are several such techniques. Some involve breathing observation during meditation, some combine with a series of body movements.

Fengshui

The goal is spiritual  reunion with nature. It is important to create an environment for oneself that takes into account the five essential elements of Chinese “spiritual alchemists”: wood, water, earth, fire, and metal. These are understood to be born of the basic forces of the universe, Ying and Yang.

Fengshui’s principles are also familiar in interior design magazines delivered in the West.  Taoists also take fengsu principles into account when choosing the location of buildings, tombs, and even new cities.

The purpose of this method, too, is to balance human ying and yang. This can be done by eating appropriately ying- and yang-containing foods. The initiate is familiar with the yang and yin levels contained in various foods.

The meal is based on vegetables, legumes, fruits, berries and whole grains, which are considered to be the most full of foods. Meat is not recommended as it represents extreme yang power, as does alcohol. Yin-representative products should not be used, such as sugar, tropical fruits, potatoes, eggplant, and white wheat flour. The yin and yang content can be increased by cooking methods: the yang content by heating, drying, acidifying, salting and seasoning. by cooling, adding liquid, sugaring and yeast. Macrobiotic food uses some specialty products, the best known of which is tofu. Other products used in macrobiotics include miso, tempeh and tamari.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese method of treatment that forms a very important part of Chinese medicine. . The name “acupuncture” was given  the Jesuits in the 17th century. It comes from the Latin words “acus,” which is a needle  and “puncture,” which means injecting.

The Taoism on which acupuncture is based emphasizes the unity of everything and  thus, for example, a human being  considered as one complete whole. Ancient acupuncture practitioners, who were doctors, philosophers, and priests in the same person, dominated this entity and its connections to the surrounding universe to the extent that the common people regarded them as saints. One of the basic ideas in healing at the time was that the healer himself was completely healthy and knew what health meant. This can be seen e.g. that when making a pulse diagnosis, the doctor is instructed to compare the patient's pulse with his or her own. The healer must constantly know what health is.

Some researchers believe that about 82% of diseases are psychosomatic. Those who trust acupuncture believe that it can heal people  fears, depression, obsessive compulsions when the acupuncture practitioner presses  and massages certain acupuncture points. The use of needles with acupuncture points is also a known practice. It is believed that these points conduct energy to the actual corresponding organs of each point. The treatment achieves a balance of Ying and Yang and thus a state of forging. The cause of the illness is considered to be the shock of the state of the tao in man.

Today, acupuncture is a recognized form of treatment among doctors in Finland, and KELA, for example, pays a normal share of acupuncture treatment given by a doctor.
