FREE CHURCH

As the name implies, the Free Church demands freedom from the state and all denominations.

The movement was born in 17th century England. In the United States, groups demanding such freedom began to be called independent.

The doctrine emphasizes the church's understanding of believers. Only those who have been baptized by believers can form a church.

The Free Church in Finland was founded in 1923
